PCNC is a service robot designed for diverse activities in outdoor spaces like parks and festivals. The robot manages the entire park maintenance cycle, handling seat rentals, food delivery functioning as a last-mile delivery service, and waste disposal post-meal consumption.

Problem

The need for infrastructure management in urban park facilities - Although the park area and visitor numbers are increasing annually, 33.9% of park visitors expressed dissatisfaction with the convenience facilities and programs. There is an issue with the lack of convenience in the park facilities.

The robot manages the entire park maintenance cycle

Urban open spaces should be accessible to everyone as a public good, but accessibility gaps arise due to various reasons such as low information accessibility and lack of facilities. To enhance accessibility to outdoor spaces, PCNC integrates dispersed park usage information online and manages the overall park ecosystem through robots, including density monitoring, facility guidance, seating provision, food delivery, and waste collection within the park.

Users can use a mobile app to check park density and facility information before visiting, set goals, receive guidance from robots, or rent furniture to create rest areas at desired locations. Robots transport furniture modules loaded at park entrance hubs to designated locations specified by customers.
